Good design starts with respect for the people experiencing it, including how their information is handled. This policy is an extension of that same care.
This website (leslieannemontgomery.com) is maintained by Leslie Anne Montgomery to showcase design work for the purpose of professional networking. It does not sell products or services. This policy explains what information is collected from visitors, why, and how it’s handled.
Information Collected
Contact form. If you use the contact form, I collect the information you submit (your name, email address and message content). This is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with any third party or added to a mailing list.
Analytics. This site uses analytics software to understand how visitors use it (e.g., pages viewed, time on site, general location, device/browser type, referring site). This is aggregate, non-identifying usage data used to improve the site’s content and performance, not to track individuals.
Hosting logs. Like virtually all websites, this site’s hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and maintenance purposes. This is standard server behaviour, not something collected or used by me directly.
Website Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors interact with the website.
Google Analytics may collect information such as device and browser information, approximate geographic location, and website activity. Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.
I use this information to understand and improve the website. I do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing or the sale of personal information.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger may automatically process technical information associated with website visits for purposes such as website operation, security and troubleshooting.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, after which they may be deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider’s standard retention settings.
